There are two ways to convert word to pdf, (1) using online service, (2) using downloaded converter software.
To use online service, just go to convertword2pdf.com and follow the instructions there.
To use the converter software, first dowload the software in your computer, the recommended software is dopdf which can be downloaded from http://www.dopdf.com/download.php. To convert a file you need to use the print function and then choose dopdf as your printer.
